I'm a linguist, who works on problems of phonology. I am interested in the increasing trend of phonetically-informed phonology. My dissertation reanalyzes the phenomenon of extrametricality in light of phonetic facts regarding the right edge, based on experiments with Norwegian speakers. I am doing further work related to Norwegian, as well as continuing to explore phonetically-based motivation for the effects of extrametricality and its OT counter-part NonFinality.
