I'm a linguist, specialized in phonology. I am interested in the recent trend toward phonetically-informed phonology. My dissertation reanalyzes the phenomenon of extrametricality in light of phonetic facts regarding the right edge. I am particularly interested in Norwegian, reduplication and looking for phonetically-based motivation for the effects of extrametricality and its OT counter-part NonFinality.
